Who We Are

Merchant Group was created to redefine the commodity industry through strategic partnerships, logistics innovation and global trade expertise.

Our foundation is mining, logistics, trade and investment, moving bulk minerals, metals and energy from producer to global buyer with efficiency, transparency and value. From that base, we are expanding into agri-food, with a vision to move up the value chain into production of our own.

What We Do

Every link in the chain, end to end.

We specialise in navigating complex supply chains to ensure efficiency, profitability and long-term success, from origin to end market.

01

Production

End-to-end support, from exploration and development through to full-scale production.

02

Logistics

Rail siding allocation, trucking and supply-chain management to move volume reliably.

03

Trade

A global network of buyers and suppliers, with trade finance, escrow and hedging.

04

Investment

Identifying undervalued assets and structuring capital for risk-adjusted growth.

Our Focus

Four sectors. One integrated network.

Investor Opportunity

A new venture: premium blueberries, from the ground up.

Working alongside our partners, we have identified a clear market signal: strong global demand for high-quality South African blueberries, met by a persistent lack of supply.

Merchant Group's vision is to close that gap at source: a 40-hectare SEKOYA Pop development at Robertson in the Western Cape, marketed by ABB Growers into counter-seasonal export markets. Development begins in 2027, with plantings phased through 2028 and first commercial harvest in 2029.
